Beginner Mat
This class introduces Pilates fundamentals using only a mat with bodyweight exercises. It focuses on building strength, flexibility, and proper alignment through controlled movements. This class is slower-paced, with modifications to suit all fitness levels.
It is ideal for newcomers or those refining their form who want a solid full-body workout.
All Levels Mat
Studio 44's 'All Levels' mat class offers Pilates exercises suitable for everyone, from beginners to advanced participants. It focuses on strength, flexibility, and core activation through a variety of controlled movements. Our instructors will provide modifications, weights and challenges to ensure everyone can work at their own pace.
It is a great option for individuals looking to improve their fitness, regardless of experience level.
Beginner Reformer
Our beginner Reformer classes introduce Pilates using the Reformer machine, which adds resistance to exercises for a deeper workout. It focuses on basic movements, core strength, and proper alignment, with an emphasis on controlled motions. This class is slower-paced, offering modifications for all fitness levels, and helps participants become familiar with the Reformer’s springs, straps, and carriage for a safe and effective practice. It’s perfect for those new to Reformer Pilates or looking to build a solid foundation.
All Levels Reformer
Studio 44 'All Levels' Reformer class offers a dynamic Pilates workout using the reformer machine, suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced participants. It combines strength, flexibility, and core engagement with the added resistance of the Reformer. Our instructors will provide variations to accommodate different fitness levels, ensuring that each participant is challenged appropriately.
Great for whether you are new to Reformer or more experienced, this class helps improve alignment, coordination, and overall strength in a supportive environment.
Intermediate Reformer
Our intermediate reformer class builds on the basics, offering a more challenging Pilates workout using the reformer machine. It incorporates advanced movements that focus on muscular endurance, mobility, and core stability with increased intensity and resistance. Participants work on improving technique and mastering more complex exercises, while instructors provide guidance and modifications to ensure proper form.
This class is ideal for those with a solid Reformer Pilates foundation looking to deepen their practice and push their limits.

Due to Reformer Pilates’ low impact nature it’s perfect if you recovering from an injury. Its focus on slow and controlled movements allows injured muscles to build strength over time along with your confidence and well-being. Always let our instructors know if you have an injury so they can modify the exercises to suit your needs.

Reformer pilates is a form of exercise that uses a reformer machine. It has a sliding carriage and adjustable springs that allow users to perform controlled, low impact movements that focus on building core strength and flexibility. The best way to find out is to come in and join a class - all our classes are fit for any body at any fitness level - adaptations and adjustments will always be offered by our instructors to support you in each class.

Everyone over 16 years old is welcome.

You can download the ‘glofox’ app and book on your phone or you can jump online to our website. If you prefer to do things in person, come down and chat to one of our instructors after one of our class times.

We get that life takes over sometimes and we ask that you give us 8 hours notice if you need to cancel a class. You can do this on our website or app. If you cancel within 8 hours you will lose your class credit.

Just yourself, but a water bottle and grip socks are always beneficial

We suggest arriving 5 mins before the class (though an instructor will be there 15 mins before). This means you can chat through any questions you have or just lay down and get comfy before the session. Remember: there is a 15 minutes lock out policy so if you are not at your class within 15 minutes of the start time, the door will be locked and you will forfeit that class credit.

As reformer pilates is built on moving carriages and balance work - you are unable to attend when over 14 weeks pregnant. Please always inform our instructors if you are pregnant so they can make adjustments to your program. Pilates is excellent as a pre and postnatal workout as it focuses on building core and pelvic floor strength.
